Use whatever flake cereal you like:  Wheat, corn, bran, etc. (Wheaties, Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes)
1 1/2 cups flour – can use whole wheat
1/2 t. baking powder
3/4 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups brown sugar

1 pkg. cake mix – any flavor
1/2 Cup softened margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup candy chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts – optional
