Jesus in My Heart

2 Thessalonians 3:3  The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 

I babysat with GK #3 and GK #5 today.  They have been on vacation and so have I.  I had them all day today, when I normally only have them for 1/2 day.  We were listening to Veggie Tales Sunday School Songs this afternoon.  The song was ” I have the love of Jesus deep in my heart”.  GK #3 said that he had Jesus in his heart.  I said, Yes because you love him and he loves you.  He then responded that Jesus loved me too.  I said that I knew that.  Then he said that,  “I ate Jesus and now he is in my tummy”.  What can you say to a 3 1/2 year old?????? I told him that I didn’t think that you could EAT Jesus, but he was in his heart.  How wonderfully simple children are.  When I think about it Jesus should be in every fiber of our being.  If we truly “eat” up his word then he should encompass everything in our body and soul.
