1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
I have a baby shower on Saturday, so I decided to try to make a “diaper cake”. My daughter has been making these and selling them for some time, but I had never attempted one. Doctor Mom is still on vacation and the construction office did not need me today, SOOOOOOOO, I had a free day to play.
You start by rolling each individual diaper and securing with a rubber band. I then arranged them in a circle and secured with another rubber band (one large enough to expand). Next I inserted another row of diapers around the ones I already had in a circle to make a large bottom “layer”. I used the remaining diapers to make a second tier. This cake took 40 newborn diapers. To put the layers together I didn’t have the sucker sticks my daughter recommended, so I used straws. They worked fine. I covered the rubber bands with ribbon and then positioned the items on the “cake”. I put the “cake” into a shrink wrap bag and used the hair dryer to shrink the wrap. Top with a bow and that’s it. I think it is pretty good for a first attempt.

This looks really cool! I just now got around to looking at it. Looks really nice
