Proverbs 16:6 A faithful man will be richly blessed.
I have had a roller coaster of emotions the last few days. I know that I am being called to begin a program for the needy in our community. I feel my calling is to set up a program to provide a free meal, low cost food, interaction with people needing work and employers, clothing bank, medical help as well as prayer and spiritual help. What direction this will take is still forming. God reveals daily pieces of this call. Today there was an amazing article in the paper about a medical clinic/dental care opening in our county. This will be a wonderful area to contact people for the free meal, food distribution, etc.
We have a LOST team (Local Outreach Support Team) that is doing amazing things. Our church is beginning a new alternative worship service for non-church goers, seekers, etc. We have a goal of at least 50 people attending our first service that have not attended our church before. We are going to knock on doors, send mailers, personally invite people, etc. Please keep this in your prayers.
This blog has reached so many people that I cannot believe it. People that would never have interacted with me. I am so grateful for their information.
I was contacted this week by our local bookseller to purchase more of my self-published cookbooks. I only have about 10 left so I have to decide to reprint or develop another cookbook. I have decided to revamp the cookbook and add more recipes that I have developed/tried since I published that one almsot 5 years ago. I hope to offer this on a wider scale. I have sold cookbooks all over the US and a few aboard through friends, family and E-bay.
From humble beginngs I have accomplished many things through Jesus Christ, our Lord. I am excited to see what else He has in store for my life. I trust in him and pray that he will direct my path.
