1 pkg. cake mix – any flavor
1/2 Cup softened margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup candy chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts – optional
Combine cake mix, softened butter and eggs. Mix until blended. The batter will be stiff. Mix in chips and nuts. Drops by teaspoonsful approximately one inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until slightly browned.
Great combinations: Yellow cake mix with chocolate chips and walnuts, Chocolate cake mix with white chocolate chips and macademia nuts, Spice cake mix with butterscotch chips, Orange or Lemon cake mix with which chocolate chips, Chocolate cake mix with peanut butter chips and peanuts. Use your own ideas. These are great and much cheaper than the cookie mixes if you catch the cake mixes on sale.
